Ce projet de cocréation avec de nouveaux arrivants et des citoyens établis a proposé un exercice cartographique permettant, au moyen d’un vocabulaire symbolique commun, de réaliser une représentation visuelle de leurs trajectoires vécues. Présenté en 2017 chez Atoll Art Actuel, les multiples perspectives et superpositions en dialogue offraient autant de lectures de la collectivité. Par des interventions cumulatives au sol, le public a poursuivi la réflexion amorcée dans une œuvre participative. Ce projet a été réalisé grâce au soutien financier du gouvernement du Québec et de la Ville de Victoriaville dans le cadre de l’Entente de Développement Culturel.

Presented in 2017 at Atoll Art Actuel in Victoriaville QC, this co-creation project invited recent immigrants and established citizens to engage in a mapping exercise using a common symbolic vocabulary, each creating a visual representation of their lived trajectory. Through cumulative walking-drawing interventions on the floor, evolving throughout the exhibition, the public created a participatory work reflecting on the same theme.
